Securium is a cyber-Intelligence company building online applications that analyses and assesses content and conversations. Importantly, Securium’s products are able to identify, in real time, online activity and behaviour that could put any individual in danger from grooming or hate speech.

The Surrey-born company will be headed to St James’s Palace on 6 November, where it will be looking to win the prestigious Pitch@Palace competition.  In addition to the main Pitch@Palace competition, Securium is nominated for the People’s Choice Award. To vote for Securium, please click here.

Dr Anna Vartapetiance, CEO and Co-Founder of Securium, and University of Surrey Alumna, said: “In a world where online harm is only a click away, especially for children, we are proud to be working diligently every day to develop systems that will tackle these dangerous activities. Like every young and fast-growing company, we need support and guidance on how we can continue to develop and provide these important products. The People’s Choice Awards is just one way our Surrey community can help us move forward.”
