It is made from 650 rocks which people in the area been painting and putting there.

The snake can be found at the end of Pondtail Road, on the footpath leading to the canal.

Teacher Jo Henden started the snake on 17 May, and told Eagle Radio they are trying to reach 1,000 stones:

"There's just such different rocks on there.

"There's obviously people that are really, really artistic and amazing rocks, and then ones children have been made that are equally beautiful and some lovely slogans.

"I'm pleased I started it.

"I wasn't sure if I'd get 10 and then someone else might, I don't know, start one somewhere else or it might not be a good position or it wasn't something people wanted to do.

"But it's just been lovely and everyone's been so appreciative of it as well."

Jo is also asking people not to touch or move the rocks.

Anybody wishing to join in should simply paint a stone, add it to the snake and show off their design on Fleet Rocks.
