The family of a woman who died in a crash in Hartley Wintney have paid tribute, saying they are "bereft."

Linda Warwick of Keats Close, Basingstoke, lost her life in the collision which happened at around 2:15pm on the A30 near the Grange Lane junction last Sunday afternoon (February 24).

The 61 year old had been driving a red Suzuki Alto.

A black Audi A4 was also involved.

Linda was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two passengers were hurt - one had potentially life-changing injuries.

The driver of Audi was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.

In a tribute issued today Linda's family says she was "a much beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister to all her family."

"Her competence and humanity was appreciated and liked by her many friends, colleagues, and all who had dealings with her.

"The sun has left our solar system.  We are bereft."

Police are investigating and would still like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision and the moments leading up to it.

They also want to hear from anyone who saw the black Audi A4 on the A30 between Blackwater and Hartley Wintney before the crash.

You can call them on 101, quoting the reference number 44190067127.
