Windows smashed and paint thrown as vandals target Fleet pavilion

Published at 3:06pm 14th February 2019.

Hampshire Constabulary say they are investigating allegations of criminal damage after vandals targeted a sports pavilion in Fleet.

Three windows were smashed and paint was thrown over the interior of the building in Oakley Park along Albany Road.

It's believed the paint had been left on site before the suspects opened it, with police saying the offenders would have got some on their clothes and shoes.

Officers say the damage likely occurred between midnight on 6 February and 6am on 11 February.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 101, quoting reference 44190050284.
