Man in 'life-threatening' condition after Blackwater crash

A motorcyclist has suffered life threatening injuries after an accident on Hawley Road, near Farnborough.

Emergency services were called out at around 9am this morning, after the crash between a black Volkswagen Touareg and a blue Yamaha motorcycle near Hawley Primary School.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 23-year-old man from Farnborough, received life threatening injuries. 

He was airlifted to hospital in Tooting where he remains in a life threatening condition.

The driver of the Volkswagen, 31-year-old woman from Farnborough did not received any injuries.

Inspector Barry Long, said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this collision, and hasn’t already spoken to us, to get in touch. 

"Were you in the area at the time of the incident?

"If you think you saw what happened or if you have any other information that you think could assist our investigation, please get in touch as soon as possible.”
