Clean-up in Hart and Rushmoor on Graffiti

Published at 1:30pm 15th May 2017.

Over 25 pieces of Graffiti have been removed in Hart and Rushmoor recently.

The Safer North Hampshire community safety team has an annual removal week, they are partnered with Graffiti Removal South.

Their aim is to remove graffiti from public and private property after concerns were raised by residents.

Caroline Ryan, Community Safety Manager for Safer North Hampshire, said: “Graffiti is not a huge problem in Hart and Rushmoor.

''However, this project helps to ensure that we remove unsightly graffiti as quickly as possible which can make a real difference to the appearance of an area – helping to provide a sense of pride and ownership of the places where people live and work.

''Thank you to our residents for reporting areas of graffiti to us.”

Graffiti can be reported on www.fixmystreet.com or by calling 01252 774476.

Residents in Rushmoor can also download the new “Love Rushmoor” app for iPhone, Android or Windows phone which lets residents report problems whilst out.
