Women is punched in the face SEVERAL times

Published at 2:39pm 21st April 2017. (Updated at 4:31pm 21st April 2017)

A woman was punched in the face several times while walking along a Blackwater street.

The 26-year-old was in an alleyway near Rosemary Lane on April 20 when a man approached her and punched her.

It was at around 11:10 and 11:20pm.

He then ran off - she sustained minor injuries and was taken to Frimley Park Hospital.

A cordon remains in place at the alleyway while investigations are carried out.

Police say they are appealing for anyone with information to call 101, quoting 44170147790.

In particular, they would like to speak to the driver of a car in Rosemary Lane at around this time who may have seen what happened.
