Man stabbed during robbery in Guildford

A man has been stabbed during a robbery involving two men in Guildford. 

Surrey Police are now appealing for witnesses after the attack in the early hours of Wednesday (18 March) on Guildford Park Road. 

At around half past midnight the 27-year-old victim was attacked with a knife while he sat in his car, the two suspects demanded he hand over his valuables.

The two suspects are described as:

  • White.
  • Aged in their 20s.
  • Slim build, with one of them is believed to have fair-coloured hair.
  • Both suspects were wearing black tracksuits with the hoods pulled up.

A-27 year-old man from Guildford was arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article and has been released from custody without charge, but remains under investigation.

The victim is now recovering at home.
