Teen convicted after criminal damage at Guildford station

A teenager has been convicted of causing criminal damage and endangering safety at Guildford station.

The 17 year old boy pleaded guilty to the incident on November 11 2019, when a fire extinguisher was thrown onto the live tracks, damaging it beyond repair.

British Transport Police say he will be paying for the damage -  and has been referred to a youth offender panel.
