Three injured in multi-vehicle crash in Guildford

Three people have been injured in a crash involving several vehicles in Guildford.

Emergency services were called to reports after 4:30am today that one car with five people in it had hit several parked cars in Pond Meadow.

Police and two ambulance crews attended.

South East Coast Ambulance said of the three who were hurt, two could be described as "walking wounded" - one more seriously.

Two people were taken to hospital for further treatment, while the driver admitted himself.

Officers say the driver is helping police with their enquiries.

The road was closed temporarily while police investigated and cleared the damage.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the crash take place or how the car was driving in the moments leading to the collision.
