A tree has fallen down and reportedly hit a car along London Road in Burpham.

No one is thought to be injured, but the road has been closed in both directions in the Abbotswood area between Woodruff Avenue and the A25, Parkway.

Traffic is queuing in the area, but there is a diversion in place.

The Stagecoach 715 service is affected.

It comes amid a yellow weather warning for wind across Surrey and Hampshire as Storm Hannah hits parts of Britain and Ireland.

It is in place until 3pm on Saturday afternoon (April 27) and the Met Office has warned of delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport.

Some short term loss of power and other service is also possible due to fallen trees and branches.
