Emergency services rush to Clay Lane after crash

A woman has been arrested after a single vehicle crash in Clay Lane in Jacobs Well, Guildford.

Police were called to the junction between Jacob Well Road and Clay Lane at at around 8:50am this morning after a car went into a tree.

Firefighters had to free two people trapped in the vehicle.

South East Coast Ambulance sent two ambulances to the scene.

The passenger has suffered a suspected broken collar bone.

Both people suffered bruising and have been taken to hospital.

Police say the 27 year old driver has been arrested on suspicion of driving while over the prescribed limit.
