E-fit released following "disturbing" Shalford burglary

Police have released an e-fit of a man in connection with a burglary in Shalford. 

A man entered a home near Tillgbourne Road last Thursday (February 7) and confronted a woman inside. 

He then fled the scene. 

Officers describe the burglary as "disturbing" but say they are carrying out extra 'reassurance' patrols in the area.

Detective Sergeant Mark Butterworth of Guildford Criminal Investigation Department said: 

"We are pursuing several lines of enquiry at present, but I would urge any members of the public with additional information to get in touch with us.

If you were in the area at the time and you saw anything suspicious, or you have any dashcam footage, please contact us as it could be a vital aid to our investigation.”
