Man seen "taking photographs of children" at Stoke Park Paddling pool

Published at 2:41pm 18th September 2018.

A man has reportedly been seen taking photographs of children at the Stoke Park Paddling pool in Guildford.

The incident happened on Sunday (16 September) evening when a number of families were at the pool.

An eyewitness said: "A man jogged up, immediately took pictures of a boy with no clothes on in the pool and the other child in the pool."

Police attended following the reports but were unable to locate the man, who had ran off towards the play park after being challenged by a member of the public.

Officers describe the man as around 30 years old, 5ft 4 with a large build and was wearing black clothing and red earphones at the time. He was alleged to have been taking the pictures on his mobile phone.

Staff at the park have been advised to call 999 if there are any further sightings of the man.
