Glasswalk challenge to raise funds for hospice

Are you brave enough to walk on broken glass?

Local hospice Phyllis Tuckwell is challenging people to do exactly that as part of its latest fundraising efforts.

Glasswalking is the act of walking barefoot over a bed of broken glass.

The event is being held at the Rotunda in Guildford today (February 24)  between 1:30pm and 6pm.

It is being run by training and events company Time4Change (T4C) who will be using motivational psychology and martial arts to help get people across around four metres of broken glass.

An instructor will hold a training session just before the walk.

Registration for the fundraiser is £30 with a requested minimum sponsorship of £150.
