Prime Minister backs Guildford charity event

The Prime Minister is backing a charity event at Guildford Cathedral on the UN's International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.

It is put on by the charity Restored and aims to raise awareness of the issue.

Theresa May has sent an official letter supporting the musical, charity event.

In it, the PM says she is 'pleased' to support the 'special concert'.

She goes on to set out her Government's plans for dealing with violence against women, saying it is one of their top priorities.

The event is being held at Guildford Cathedral at 7:30pm on Saturday 25th November.
