A tumble dryer, which was not in use, started a fire which has devastated a Guildford children's charity.

The blaze at Challengers in Stoke Park started as children were inside the building.

They and staff were evacuated safely, but much of the building has suffered substantial damage.

Challengers has thanked staff and firefighters for their quick response to the blaze.
