Road rage incident in Chilworth

Police are investigating a road rage incident in Chilworth.

Two men stopped on Sampleoak Lane and began rowing.

One of the men needed hospital treatment for a wound to his hand.

The incident happened on the afternoon of August 4th and involved a BMW and a silver Vauxhall.

Surrey Police says the silver Vauxhall drove off in the direction of the Percy Arms pub and turned left on to the Dorking road towards Shalford.

The driver is described as Asian, aged in his 20's, six foot tall, slim build with short dark hair.

Another driver did stop but police do not have his details and want him to get in touch.

Any other witnesses to the incident are asked to get in touch.

Investigating officers need to hear from anyone who may have seen the incident unfold.
