Laura Merrifield has shared her excitement at having the crowd behind the team at the 2017 FIL Rathbones Women’s Lacrosse World Cup.

The event takes place from 12th-22nd July at Surrey Sports Park in Guildford and is the largest women's sporting event this year to be held in the UK,

It involves 25 teams, 620 athletes and staff, 60 officials, over 100 volunteers, 97 matches, 600 lacrosse balls and over 20,000 spectators.
