Whats Going On?

According to South West Trains, their control room has received reports of a train fault on a service near Guildford.

For safety reasons the electrical supply had to be isolated from the track.

As a result all services in the area were brought to a stand.

What They're Doing About It

South West Trains say they're in the process of gathering information about what has happened.

On their website, they said: "We are in contact with colleagues in the area and dispatching response teams to site to investigate.

"Due to the incident trains may be delayed, cancelled or diverted via an alternative route.
