Guildford falls silent for Grenfell Tower victims

Guildford fell silent this morning to remember the victims of the Grenfell Tower disaster.

The town's Mayor, Cllr Nigel Manning and Leader of the Council, Cllr Paul Spooner led the minute's silence at 11 o'clock.

This also marked a minute's silence across the borough.

It the third minute's silence that has been held on Guildford High Street in the past four weeks.

Cllr Nigel Manning and Cllr Paul Spooner previously led silences for the victims of both the Manchester and London terror attacks.
