Stoke Park's 'One Live' cancelled due to lack of ticket sales

Organisers of Guildford's "One Live" music festival in Stoke Park have been forced to cancel the event.

It was due to take place next month but a lack of ticket sales has meant it's had to be called off.

It has been described it as a "difficult decision" and organisers say they "regret any disappointment" caused.

The event was due to take place on 8th July, and was a festival to raise awareness of all animals.

Former Spice Girl, Melanie C, and Republica had been announced as those performing by SuperVet Noel Fitzpatrick.

The Darkness, The Boomtown Rats, Toploader, Hunter & the Bear and Reverend and the Makers were also part of the line-up.

The festival at Stoke Park on July 8, aimed to focus on humans and animals trusting each other.

It supports Noel Fiztpatrick’s vision for a community of compassion where every person and every animal is our neighbour and we genuinely care about each other.

In a statement, One Live said: "We regret any disappointment this may cause and assure full refund of any ticket purchases.

"We passionately believe that the message of one love and one medicine for all animals and humans is vital and we shall continue in our mission to raise awareness for this important cause.

"Sadly on this occasion, we have not been able to sell enough tickets at this stage to put on a quality event.

"We thank you very much for your support and belief in our vision.

"All ticket holders will be contacted and refunded in full by the ticket provider they purchased from. If you have any queries about your refund, please contact the relevant ticket provider directly."
