All trains through Guildford cancelled on Sunday

There will be no trains running through Guildford this Sunday.

South West Trains will be running replacement bus services throughout the day (21st May).

It is for 'renewal and maintenance' work.

Long distance passengers between London Waterloo, Woking and Portsmouth are advised to use the through train service via Eastleigh and Fareham to avoid the bus services.

  • Trains between London Waterloo and Portsmouth via Haslemere will only run as far as Woking.
  • Replacement bus services will run between Woking and Haslemere.
  • revised train service will run between Haslemere and Portsmouth Harbour.
  • The stopping train service between London Waterloo and Guildford via Woking will be replaced by buses between Woking and Guildford.
  • A near normal train service will run between London Waterloo and Clandonvia Surbiton and Cobham. All trains will use platform 2 at Clandon.
  • Replacement bus services will run between Clandon and Guildford.
  • Trains to and from Guildford via Epsom will be replaced by buses between Epsom and Guildford due to work in the Leatherhead area.
  • The train service between Ascot and Guildford will be altered to run between Ascot and Farnham.
  • Replacement bus services will run between Aldershot and Guildford.

The work will also affect Great Western services between Reading, Guildford and Gatwick Airport.
