LISTEN: How Guildford Community Lottery raises money for local charities

The first draw of our new Guildford Community Lottery, with a top prize of £25,000, will take place on Saturday 1 December. A single ticket costs £1, with 60p going directly to good causes.

Nearly 80 local good causes, including charities, clubs and groups have signed up, giving them an opportunity to raise funds in an exciting and effective way.

Guildford Borough Council Leader Councillor Paul Spooner explains the benefit to the community, and encourages people to get involved:
