The Mayor's Award for Service to the Community aims to recognise and encourage positive community working in the borough, and celebrates residents and groups who make a real difference by giving their time in volunteer roles.

Recipients of the award are nominated by the local community.

Guildford Mayor Cllr Nigel Manning encourages people to nominate someone who deserves recognition:

To make a nomination, please complete the online form on our Mayor's Award for Service to the Community nomination page. To request a form, please email CivicSecretary@guildford.gov.uk or call 01483 444031.

The deadline for nominations is Friday 23 February. The Mayor will present the awards at an informal ceremony on Saturday 28 April 2018.
