Youths jump into the River Thames after Weybridge property vandalised

Police are looking for witnesses after a property in Weybridge was broken into and vandalised. 

It happened at around 3pm on Monday (1 June) in D’Oyly Carte where windows were smashed and graffiti written on the walls. 

A group of around 14 youths were seen leaving the address by jumping into the river and swimming in the direction of Desborough Island.  

The following descriptions were given for five of the suspects:

  1. Black male, aged 16 to 19 years old, skinny, short brown hair and wearing green luminous shorts with a black stripe on the side
  2. White male, aged 15 –to 16 years old, skinny, brown short hair, wearing black shorts and black socks
  3. Black male, aged 15 –to 16 years old, skinny build, brown afro hair shaved at the side, wearing black shorts and grey stripy socks
  4. White male, aged 15 to 17 years old, skinny build, blonde short hair, wearing black shorts with a silver line down the side and grey and black socks
  5. White male, 17 years old, tanned complexion, muscular build, black medium length hair, wearing black shorts with a red line down the side
