Published at 3:06pm 20th March 2017.

Thieves have stolen three expensive watches and a car from a Weybridge home.

Police are trying to recover the jewellery - which belonged to the owner's late father.

They broke through a door at the back of the house in Portmore Park Road on Saturday March 11.

An old style safe was taken - the items were inside.

The Peugeot on the drive was later recovered.

It all happened between the hours of 5.30pm and 8.15pm.

One of the watches, a Favre Lueba, belonged to the owner’s late father and is of great sentimental value.

The other two (pictured) are silver and blue sapphire Omega watches, one with the serial number 03256/10007 and the other which has 007 engraved on the back and on the strap with the serial number 01008/10007.

Officers are urging anybody who has seen these items, perhaps for sale online, to contact police.
