YOUR chance to have your artwork showcased in Elmbridge

Published at 10:58am 10th March 2017.

Would you like to see your artwork presented in a gallery? If so, this is your chance.

The Elmbridge: Moving Art project is inviting artists aged 15+ to submit one piece of art, by 1st May.

It will showcase local artists at the Robert Philips Gallery at Riverhouse Arts Centre in Walton-on-Thames from 19 July to 13 August before touring other spaces across Elmbridge.

The exhibition aims to celebrate local talent, and provide emerging and established artists with a platform.

Councillor Janet Turner, Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Culture, said, “Elmbridge: Moving Art is a great platform for all the artists who are keen to share their talent with the community".

"I strongly encourage them to take part and submit their favourite work so that everyone can enjoy them”.

Anyone interested in taking part is encouraged to email arts@rcsherriff.org.uk or arts@elmbridge.gov.uk with images of their work.
