After his dad died from a brain tumour in 2012, Callum Gathercole took on the 'ultimate' rowing challenge.

He wanted to do something in memory of his father, so decided to row solo across the Atlantic.

Having spent two years fundraising and preparing, he set off on the gruelling journey. It took 58 days, but he managed to finish and become the youngest person to row an ocean single-handedly.

Callum describes how he coped during his lowest moments, and his plans to trial for the Team GB under-23 rowing squad:
