New outpatients clinics now open in Bordon

Published at 12:39pm 1st November 2019. (Updated at 12:40pm 1st November 2019)

People in Bordon and surrounding areas now have access to two new community clinics - bringing care closer to home.

Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust will be delivering both a Rheumatology clinic and a Diabetes and Endocrine clinic at Badgerswood GP surgery in Headley from this month.

It means outpatients will no longer have to travel out of town for appointments.

It also frees up space at Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford.

The clinics join those already in place in Bordon for Obstetrics, Physiotherapy and Ophthalmology.

Rheumatology clinics will run on Wednesday afternoons and the Diabetes and Endocrine clinic will take place on the third Wednesday of the month.
