Boys from Surrey and Hampshire in hospital after taking illegal substance

Police have issued a warning after two teenagers from Hindhead and Liphook suffered a medical episode at the weekend.

The 16 year old boys had to be hospitalised after it happened on Saturday night (March 9).

Officers say they had taken an illegal substance in Liss - and they are now trying to find out what happened, including what substance the boys took and where it came from.

The teens are in a stable condition in Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth.

Hampshire Constabulary say they want to remind people not to experiment with drugs of any kind - and that "even just dabbling could have terrible consequences for your health, life and family."
