Ram raid at Bordon BP garage

Police are investigating after two separate incidents in Bordon overnight. 

They were called to a ram-raid the Sleaford Service Station on the A325 at around 3:15am today (September 21).

Damage was caused to the ATM at the Sleaford Service Station on Farnham Road.

A JCB telehandler was left at the scene.

A second incident also took place at the One Stop store in Rydal Close overnight, shortly before 6am. 

Staff members were threatened before cash was stolen.

No serious injuries were reported.

An investigation has begun to determine the exact circumstances of what took place.

The two incidents are not being treated as linked at this time.

Acting Inspector Philip Shore said: “We understand people will be concerned by these two incidents.

“We take all such reports seriously. Detectives are working hard on both incidents to identify those responsible.

“Neighbourhood officers will also be patrolling for reassurance. If you have a query, please speak to them.

“If you know anything about either of these incidents then please call 101 – any information could prove vital to our investigations.”.
