Thieves steal cash machine from Hampshire college for disabled

A cash machine and around £1,000 has been stolen from a college near Alton. 

The break-in happened at Treloar College, in Powell Drive, Holybourne, at around 3am on Wednesday 20 June.

Offenders broke into the main building on the campus and stole petty cash worth £1,000.

A freestanding cash machine was also taken from a shop in the building.

A Ford Transit van, which had also been taken from the college site, was later found abandoned nearby in Gaskill Close.

The cash machine has not been located.

Hampshire Police are investigating what happened and would like anyone with information to come forward.
