A man has forced his way into homes in Liss  -  and thousands of pounds worth of jewellery has been stolen.

Police are linking the burglaries on Farther Common and Stodham Lane last Thursday morning (April 19).

Officers say the man is believed to have knocked on the doors of the properties some time between 9am and midday before forcing entry.

He searched the main bedrooms before leaving with thousands of pounds worth of jewellery.

The suspect arrived on a large, silver, sports-style motorbike, which had minor damage to the fuel cap.

He is described as:

  • Male
  • Mediterranean appearance
  • Foreign accent
  • Shoulder length, greasy, black hair
  • He was wearing a green camouflage motorcycle jacket and trousers, black and white motorcycle gloves and trainers.

Hampshire Constabulary says it wants to hear from anyone who recognises the suspect from the description, or saw him in Liss on the morning of April 19.
