Drivers caught stopping outside Hampshire fire station risk lives

Is your parking costing lives?

There is a plea from Hampshire Fire and Rescue service as drivers pull up outside fire stations.

Time lapse footage has caught nine cars blocked one fire station exit in just six hours.

The video was shot at Tadley fire station in Hampshire.

In one instance three cars blocked the fire engines' exit for more than 60 seconds.

Hampshire Fire and Rescue says they are "ignoring road markings and signs" and "costing lives".

It is illegal to park or stop momentarily this area.

Doing so could land you a fine - delay a crew from reaching an emergency - and ultimately cost lives.
