Come wassailing with the Rural Life Centre, Farnham on 18 January when we will be blessing our new apple tree with cider (or apple juice), singing songs, making bird feeders and dressing the other trees in lanterns and decorations..

The procession will take place at 3pm but throughout the day visitors can make ivy headdresses, clay leaves and birdfeeders. Music will be supplied by the Northumbrian pipes with cider from the local brewery in Frensham. The museum will be open between 11am and 4pm with over 30 building of artefacts representing rural life in England including the fully furnished popular prefab house. Refreshments in the café will include a special winter apple cake. Parking free, dogs welcome. £4.50, Concession £4 Children over 4 £3 Family (2 adult and 3 children) £13.50
