About:
The link between the Armed Forces and sport is one that goes back hundreds of years. Now a new museum exhibition explores exactly how sport helps prepare soldiers for the battlefield.

The exhibition explores the key themes of teamwork, fitness and combat training using a collection of images, film and objects, old and new, from a variety of military and sporting museums, current day Army teams and elite Army athletes. This includes military equipment such as WW1 trench weapons used for hand to hand combat and sporting equipment and medals such as an Olympic wrestling silver medal.

The exhibition will be held for two weeks at the RAPTC Museum before travelling to other venues across England.

The Museum is open Monday-Friday, please bring photo id for entrance. More details can be found on the Museum website
