Saturday 18th May, 2019

Join us for a day of family history talks, displays and exhibitions themed around the topic of 'How We Used to Live'.
There will be a number of talks including Life and Labour in a County Village which focuses on agricultural life during the latter half of the 19th century, stories of the men from Ripley and Send in the Great War and we will discuss the variety of sources from archives that can be used to build up a picture of the past lives and experiences of our ancestors.
We will also include displays from our own collections and have advice desks and stands from local groups and societies on a variety of topics. Tickets are free but please book a place online, in person at Surrey History Centre or any Surrey Library or phone 01483 518737.
