The Audiology Department at the Royal Surrey County Hospital is organizing a free seminar for public on Tinnitus & Hearing Impairment (07-Feb-2019, 3-5 pm) in keeping with the “National Tinnitus Week” which is taking place from 4th to 10th February 2019. The main aim of the week is raising awareness about tinnitus and its impact on the sufferers and the support available.

Our Tinnitus Clinic is very unique and attracts referrals from many parts of the country for assessment and tinnitus therapy and we have heavily contributed to tinnitus research.

Highlights of our research are:
• Suicide and tinnitus
• Tinnitus in children
• Parental separation and parental mental health in childhood and tinnitus and hyperacusis disability in adulthood
• Hearing assessment for patients with tinnitus
• Depression and insomnia in tinnitus patients
