Eagle Radio’s Community Help is a place where not-for-profit companies and charities can list services that are delivered in a no-contact way and observe the strict guidelines around social distancing. 

It’s also a place for local support groups to let people know what’s available and how to get involved as a volunteer.

A.R.C - Aldershot Response to Coronavirus

A group of Aldershot residents have set up a group called A.R.C which stands for Aldershot Response to Coronavirus. We can be found on Facebook.

We have many willing volunteers from Aldershot who have signed up to help their community. We are able to do the shopping for people in self-isolation, who have no family or friends to help them. We are also working with Rushmoor voluntary services to help set up a regular prescription service to people’s doorsteps.

Award-winning Kelly's Storage known locally for their well run challenge events are inviting runners to sign-up to their Virtual fitness events - there's a running one and a walking one - you decide which one you'd like to sign-up to.

The Community Helpline set-up by Guildford Borough Council to help residents in need of support during the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Helpline has made over 21,000 calls since its launch on 6 April, to assist vulnerable residents with food parcels, prescriptions and other support, and will now be available six days a week to reflect the Council’s monitoring of demand levels and the government’s changes in guidance for those shielding:

A community action group in response to Corona Virus

There are many people in our local community that are unwell due to COVID-19 or self-isolating right now. Our website provides a central point for those wishing to ask for help and for those wishing to volunteer.

TalkPlus are the primary mental health care provider in North East Hampshire and Farnham. We offer free NHS support to people suffering with common mental health conditions.

We are open and have adapted the way we work to accommodate people’s needs at this troubling time. We offer ongoing therapy as usual but we have also introduced Single Session Therapy to ensure we can offer support at the time of need. We're offering video and telephone sessions as well as webinars as treatment options for people who might not have the privacy, we also introduced Instant messaging therapy.
