Eagle Radio's Christmas Wish in association with Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists

Eagle Radio's Christmas Wish 🌟

This Christmas in Surrey and Hampshire, we are giving you the opportunity to grant the wishes of your friends and family.

What is the Eagle Radio Christmas Wish?

The Eagle Radio team want to hear about someone you know who has had a tough year in 2018 so they can help make their Christmas a good one despite their circumstances.

All you have to do is tell us their story and what would make their dreams come true this Christmas. We'll see if we can help grant your Christmas wishes and 5 local people will be chosen on the week leading up to Christmas Day.

PG, Breakfast Bev, and Morning Matt will call the 6 winners on The Peter Gordon Breakfast Show to let them know that they've been granted a special Christmas Wish 📞

Christmas Wish Day 1 - Karen & Savannah

Karen and her 9 year old daughter Savannah from Godalming lost two loved ones in the space of days. Thanks to the generosity of Chessington Zoo and New Victoria Theatre, Woking the family were granted a Christmas Wish to help them through this incredibly difficult time.

Christmas Wish Day 2 - Charles & Karen

Charles was only 9 years old when his father passed away from cancer last Christmas. This brave little boy has been a rock for his mum Karen, so we granted him a wish that involves Charles’ favourite things – fast cars and baking!

Christmas Wish Day 3 - Megan

22 year old Megan lost her mum very suddenly and has been bringing up her little brother alone since then. Eagle Radio's Christmas Wish gave her the chance to pamper herself for once (and there’s a magical treat for her brother Oliver too).

Christmas Wish Day 4 - Skye

Mum-of-2 Skye from Frimley, who is battling lung cancer and faces an uncertain future.

As well as being a busy mum and wife, Skye holds down a job and helps out on the PTA at the girls' school - all this while travelling to London for treatment three times a week.

Christmas Wish Day 5 - Jody

12 year old Jody has an aggressive form of stage four cancer after being diagnosed with a brain tumour, and has been going through intensive chemotherapy treatment.

If she could have anything in the world to make this Christmas special, she’d like a unicorn...
