18th December 2019

Good morning,

Today was a very special day, as we started granting our Christmas wishes.

Christmas Wish with Sponsor

The first of our wishes was granted to Kirsty in Godalming.

Kirsty has had a very tough year, as in January, she lost her soul mate & her husband Kev.

Kirsty's mum Angela let us know how brave Kirsty has been, with not only losing her husband, but Kirsty and her daughter Phoebe suffer with Stickler syndrome, which presents its own challenges.

The Peter Gordon Breakfast Show were able to organise for Kirsty and her children Sam and Phoebe, the attend the New Victoria Theatre in Woking to watch Pepper Pig's Best Day Ever and meet Pepper and the gang after!

Angela also mentioned how Kirsty needed to relax, which she can do at the South Lodge Hotel where not only will she enjoy a Spa Day with a friend, but she will have dinner and an over night stay to truly catch up on some much needed rest.

You can see the full video on our Facebook page and the Christmas Wish continues this week on the Peter Gordon Breakfast Show.

It was another five caller Mystery Voice this morning, but we still are not any closer to discovering who the voice is! You can check out the wrong guesses and listen to the voice here.

There was HUGE excitement on the £1000 Minute today....

£1000 Minute

Greg in Chessington heard seven questions which meant, not only did he get a £20 Thai Terrace voucher for taking part but..... GREG SCORED 10 OUT OF 10!!!!!!

Congratulations Greg! £1000 just in time for Christmas! :).

PG and Breakfast Bev will be back tomorrow from 6am.

Check out all the prizes and listen to the voice as many times as you like here.

Isabel in Haslemere heard all five questions that Bev had shared throughout the show, so PG (as promised) gave Isabel TWO more questions, but unfortunately, Isabel only scored 4 out of 10, but she did win a £20 Thai Terrace voucher for taking part.

Good  morning!

We hope you're feeling festive and according to research, today is the day most of us will start to get that festive feeling...

80247870_10156556261117181_3181307431770652672_o

Sticking with the festive theme, today, PG and Breakfast Bev were asking, who is your favourite on screen Father Christmas? You can share yours with us on our Facebook page

PG is using the phrase 'tis the season of giving' to his full advantage as until the Mystery Voice is won, he is going to take up to five callers until the voice has been guessed!

On this mornings £1000 Minute, Lesley in Guildford did SO well, she managed to score 9 out of 10.

Lesley may not have won a grand, but she has won a £20 Thai Terrace Voucher just for taking part.

If you listen to all five questions that Bev shares in the first part of the show, PG will give you another two questions just before you start, to give you even more of a chance of winning £1000 just in time for Christmas.

Christmas Carols SMC 1000x350

Today's Christmas Carol that was played on air at 7.45 AM was Lyndhurst School in Camberley, who sang 'Follow the Star'.

Friday 13th December 2019

13th December 2019

It's Friday!

PG made his return this morning after being busy with Panto over the last few weeks.

It really must be the season of giving as PG was feeling very generous!

Not only did he make it a FIVE CALL FRIDAY on the Mystery Voice, but he announced that  every day next week, PG and Breakfast Bev will take up to five callers for the Mystery Voice!

The wrong guesses that were added to the list this morning were: Mr Tumble (Justin Fletcher), Stefan Dennis, Matthew Lewis & Max Bowden (one caller disappeared).

The giving didn't stop there...

£1000 Minute

PG has also decided that from Monday 16th December, if the contestant has listened to all five questions that Bev will share throughout the show, he will give them the choice to pick TWO more questions that they can hear before the quiz starts.

Even if you don't quite manage to score 10 out of 10, Thai Terrace are kindly giving all contestants a £20 voucher to put towards a meal with them all next week.

Christmas Carols SMC 1000x350

Today's Christmas Carol winner's were Halstead Prep School in Woking, who sung a beautiful rendition of 'Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas'.

The next Christmas Carol winner will be played at 7.45 on Monday morning.

Have a fun-filled, festive weekend and PG and Breakfast Bev will see you from 6am on Monday morning!

12th December 2019

Good morning,

Adam and Breakfast Bev continued with the festive feeling this morning by asking 'who did you play in the nativity?'.

79985588_10156545892037181_3676488440553144320_o

Some of you had really funny stories to share, you can see them here and add yours here

On this morning's Mystery Voice, Ray in Chobham thought the voice might belong to Freddie Starr and Paula in Aldershot suggested the voice might belong to Edward of 'Jedward'.

But as you may have guessed, both of their guesses ended up on the wrong answer list!

Check the wrong answer list and see the prizes up for grabs here

Roger in Guildford tried his luck on the £1000 Minute today and scored 3 out of 10.

Roger or 'Chewy' may now have won £1000 but, he did win 'Now 100 Hits Even More Forgotten 80's'.

Today's Christmas Carol winner was Bentley C of E School in Farnham, who sang 'Once in Royal David's City.

79510010_10156543319637181_7040851115100864512_o

The two guesses on the Mystery Voice this morning were Craig Cash and Nick Park (the creator of Shaun the Sheep!).

10th December 2019

Good morning!

We are feeling very festive at the Eagle Radio HQ today, as our decorations will be going up.

This morning, Adam and Breakfast Bev and Adam were asking if you think it is too soon to say Merry Christmas?

79140395_10156540820647181_8356605541547507712_n

We had mixed reviews but our Twitter pole concluded that 63% say it isn't too early and 37% thought it was too early, but we're going to stick with the majority and say... MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Adam and Bev are feeling generous this week and giving two of you the chance to play the Mystery Voice this week!

Janette in Woking thought the voice might be golfer Jack Nicklaus and Clive (who thought it was not too early to say Merry Christmas) thought it might be comedian Dave Allen...

Neither Janette or Clive were right, so both names have made their way to the wrong answer list, which you can check here

£1000 Minute

Alex (who always sends in bad jokes) in Farmham played the £1000 Minute today and scored ZERO out of ten! (It's ok though, Alex admitted he only really played because he is a huge fan of 80's music and wanted to get his hands on a copy of – Now 100 Hits Even More Forgotten 80s just for taking part).

Adam and Bev will be back tomorrow morning form 6am & all that's left to say is... MERRY CHRISTMAS!

78669284_10156538193407181_7181363362486288384_o

You can get involved and share what you've been buying with us on our Facebook page.

Adam and Bev are feeling generous this week and have decided to accept TWO callers on the Mystery Voice in Breakfast all this week!

First up was Kate in West Ewell, who thought the voice might belong to This Morning's Steve Wilson and then Jackie from Bordon who thought it might be actor Steven Graham.

Unfortunately, the voice is neither Steve's! If you think you know who the voice might belong to, make sure you check the wrong answer list here first!

On the £1000 Minute, Sam in Godalming managed to here just one of the questions that Bev shared earlier but sadly, Sam only scored 4 out of 10.

Your next chance to play the £1000 Minute will be tomorrow at 8.15am.

Marie in Guildford played the Mystery Voice this morning, she thought the voice might belong to Suggs in Madness... However, the voice does not belong to Suggs, so that's another name added to the wrong answer list!

You can see all the wrong guesses and hear the voice here.

On the £1000 Minute, Becky in Brookwood heard three of the five questions that Bev shared just before 8am (she does that everyday), but unfortunately, Becky only scored 2 out of 10, as she hadn't had a chance to search the questions she had heard.
