16th December 2019

Good  morning!

We hope you're feeling festive and according to research, today is the day most of us will start to get that festive feeling...

Sticking with the festive theme, today, PG and Breakfast Bev were asking, who is your favourite on screen Father Christmas? You can share yours with us on our Facebook page

PG is using the phrase 'tis the season of giving' to his full advantage as until the Mystery Voice is won, he is going to take up to five callers until the voice has been guessed!

On this mornings £1000 Minute, Lesley in Guildford did SO well, she managed to score 9 out of 10.

Lesley may not have won a grand, but she has won a £20 Thai Terrace Voucher just for taking part.

If you listen to all five questions that Bev shares in the first part of the show, PG will give you another two questions just before you start, to give you even more of a chance of winning £1000 just in time for Christmas.

Christmas Carols SMC 1000x350

Today's Christmas Carol that was played on air at 7.45 AM was Lyndhurst School in Camberley, who sang 'Follow the Star'.

Tune in at 7.45 AM tomorrow to see which school will be played next.

PG and Breakfast Bev will see you tomorrow morning from 6am.

13th December 2019

It's Friday!

PG made his return this morning after being busy with Panto over the last few weeks.

It really must be the season of giving as PG was feeling very generous!

Not only did he make it a FIVE CALL FRIDAY on the Mystery Voice, but he announced that  every day next week, PG and Breakfast Bev will take up to five callers for the Mystery Voice!

The wrong guesses that were added to the list this morning were: Mr Tumble (Justin Fletcher), Stefan Dennis, Matthew Lewis & Max Bowden (one caller disappeared).

The giving didn't stop there...

£1000 Minute

PG has also decided that from Monday 16th December, if the contestant has listened to all five questions that Bev will share throughout the show, he will give them the choice to pick TWO more questions that they can hear before the quiz starts.

Even if you don't quite manage to score 10 out of 10, Thai Terrace are kindly giving all contestants a £20 voucher to put towards a meal with them all next week.

Christmas Carols SMC 1000x350

Today's Christmas Carol winner's were Halstead Prep School in Woking, who sung a beautiful rendition of 'Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas'.

The next Christmas Carol winner will be played at 7.45 on Monday morning.

Have a fun-filled, festive weekend and PG and Breakfast Bev will see you from 6am on Monday morning!

Byeeee.

12th December 2019

Good morning,

Adam and Breakfast Bev continued with the festive feeling this morning by asking 'who did you play in the nativity?'.

Some of you had really funny stories to share, you can see them here and add yours here

On this morning's Mystery Voice, Ray in Chobham thought the voice might belong to Freddie Starr and Paula in Aldershot suggested the voice might belong to Edward of 'Jedward'.

But as you may have guessed, both of their guesses ended up on the wrong answer list!

Check the wrong answer list and see the prizes up for grabs here

Roger in Guildford tried his luck on the £1000 Minute today and scored 3 out of 10.

Roger or 'Chewy' may now have won £1000 but, he did win 'Now 100 Hits Even More Forgotten 80's'.

Today's Christmas Carol winner was Bentley C of E School in Farnham, who sang 'Once in Royal David's City.

Tomorrow at 7.45 we will be playing our next Christmas Carol winner.

PG will be back tomorrow with Breakfast Bev!

See you then.

11th December 2019

Happy hump day!

There was a real happy, festive feel to today's show, as we started our Christmas Carol Competition!

Bohunt School in Liphook sung a beautiful rendition of Silent Night and if you tune in tomorrow at 7.45AM, you can hear who has been chosen next.

You can listen to all the carols that have been submitted on the Eagle Radio website.

The two guesses on the Mystery Voice this morning were Craig Cash and Nick Park (the creator of Shaun the Sheep!).

Sadly, both of those guesses were not correct, so both of those guesses have been added to the wrong answer list.

You can check all the wrong guesses, see the prizes up for grabs and listen to the voice as many times as you like right here

The lovely Sarah from Farnborough had a on the £1000 Minute today and managed to score 3 out of 10.

If you get through to play tomorrow and Friday, you will automatically receive a copy of 'Now 100 Hits Even More Forgotten 80's'.

Adam and Bev will be back at 6am tomorrow morning, chow for now!

10th December 2019

Good morning!

We are feeling very festive at the Eagle Radio HQ today, as our decorations will be going up.

This morning, Adam and Breakfast Bev and Adam were asking if you think it is too soon to say Merry Christmas?

79140395_10156540820647181_8356605541547507712_n

We had mixed reviews but our Twitter pole concluded that 63% say it isn't too early and 37% thought it was too early, but we're going to stick with the majority and say... MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Adam and Bev are feeling generous this week and giving two of you the chance to play the Mystery Voice this week!

Janette in Woking thought the voice might be golfer Jack Nicklaus and Clive (who thought it was not too early to say Merry Christmas) thought it might be comedian Dave Allen...

Neither Janette or Clive were right, so both names have made their way to the wrong answer list, which you can check here

£1000 Minute

Alex (who always sends in bad jokes) in Farmham played the £1000 Minute today and scored ZERO out of ten! (It's ok though, Alex admitted he only really played because he is a huge fan of 80's music and wanted to get his hands on a copy of – Now 100 Hits Even More Forgotten 80s just for taking part).

Adam and Bev will be back tomorrow morning form 6am & all that's left to say is... MERRY CHRISTMAS!
