HOW to deliver a good TED TALK

TEDx Woking

TEDx was in Woking on the 30th November, ramsac partnered with Woking Borough Council which brought together engaging speakers and TED videos, under the theme of 'Discovery'.

TED is a non -profit organisation devoted to spreading ideas in the form of short, powerful talks of 18 minutes or less.

At last year’s TEDx Woking event ramsac Managing Director, Rob May presented a talk; Your human Firewall – The Answer to the Cyber Security Problem which to date has had over 130,000 views on YouTube and spawned two books.

TED begun in 1984 and has rapidly gained popularity through social sites like YouTube and has become an event many people aspire to be a part of. You may be interested in doing a TEDx or TED Talk at some point in your lifetime, or maybe, you want to improve in your public speaking? We sat down with Rob May and since he has a TEDx under his belt Rob May has some advice on how to deliver a good talk through his experience and knowledge.

Enjoy this podcast which is also on iTunes, we hope it will benefit you in any area of your life that involves public speaking.
