Biz Joins 'Basepoint Business Centres' On Their Macmillan Coffee Morning!

Macmillan Coffee Morning

What is the Macmillan Coffee Morning About?

The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday 28th September is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer. People all over the UK to host their own Coffee Mornings and donations on the day are made to Macmillan. Last year alone they raised over £27 million and together we can make this another successful year.

Why should your business engage with the coffee morning?

World's Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan Cancer Support's biggest fundraising event. Each year, people in the UK and worldwide host their own Coffee Morning. The donations received go towards Macmillan services. In 2016 alone, World's Biggest Coffee Morning raised £29.5 million.

We all know someone, or someone who knows someone who is or was a victim of cancer, this is your way to give back together as a business and fundraise for a better cause, this morning isn't just about delicious cakes and a pretty presentation, it's not even about who has raised the most, it's just about trying, and doing what we realistically can, together, spreading the awareness and just being present, it's not like any other day in the week where you have coffee with a colleague, this is different, this is each of us doing our part and if you've done your part today, we thank you!

We would love to hear from you, please join us on Twitter and Instagram, let's get this trending in Surrey and Hampshire, share your pics, tag us, let's continue to spread the awareness and get involved.
