The fortnight over Halloween and Bonfire Night are typically times when Surrey Police experience an increase in antisocial behaviour, including noise, letting off fireworks and being rowdy and inconsiderate of neighbours. To help the extra patrols in this time, make sure people felt safe, and ensure young people were having fun in a way that isn’t scaring vulnerable people in the community, Eagle Radio’s Education Team worked with select schools to create Radio Adverts with Surrey Police’s key message: Scare yourself, but don’t scare others this Halloween and Bonfire Night.

For two weeks from Wednesday 23rd October, the poll was open for you to vote for your favourite of the adverts, all recorded by schools! The school with the most votes by Wednesday 6th November was announced the Advert Challenge winner, and received a special prize from Eagle Radio.
